SPA Lecture Series
The SPA Lecture Series (member login required) is a production created by Pediatric Anesthesiologists and edited by Dr. Tae Kim, which had the original goal of serving as a repository of high quality lectures ready to give during missions. The SPA Lecture Series has evolved into an extensive collection of peer reviewed, periodically updated, PowerPoint productions, that serve as an added value to SPA members and that we envision will serve as a resource for pediatric anesthesia training in Low-Middle Income Countries (LMICs).

The volume Essential Surgery identifies 44 surgical cost-effective procedures that could be feasibly implemented in low- and middle-income countries. Universal access to those procedures would rank among the most cost effective of all health interventions.
